Tease your taste buds with a citrus Umeboshi dressing over this hearty red cabbage and sweet pea salad.
Red cabbage helps prevent premature aging, reduces your risk of cancer, improves skin and eyes health, and helps in weight loss.
It also boosts the immune system, detoxifies the body, and improves heart health. And it’s one of the stars of this tasty recipe.
The sweet sugar snap peas that lend so much flavor to this salad are rich in antioxidants and a health-protective polyphenol called coumestrol. One study determined you only need 2 milligrams per day of this phytonutrient to prevent stomach cancer.
Top it off with sesame seeds for added crunch and the anti-cancer compound phytate.
Fight cancer in the kitchen with the perfect blend of a fresh, healthy salad and this tangy summertime dressing!
